Heart and Soul of Pitter Patter Portraits

As a mother of three, I am constantly reminded by how fast my own children grow, that time flies by, ever so quickly.  I aim, as a photographer, to capture the fleeting moments in time, which you try so hard to remember yet so quickly forget.  Your children are little only once and I ensure those precious memories are never forgotten!

I love meeting children, playing games with them and having fun.  Being able to capture their smiles, pouts and laughter is just an added bonus.  My style is contemporary, clean and simple. I strive to make a connection with each and every child to get natural expressions, not forced smiles. It is my goal at each session to create timeless portraits that show your children’s personality and individuality.

I admit, I have always had a soft spot for newborn babies.  I enjoy these sessions the most as I get to cuddle a soft, squishy newborn whilst I am trying to get them to sleep.  I love curling their little hands and toes in position to capture that newborn form.  These sessions are best done in the first two weeks of your little angel’s life, so please contact me as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

I also love the pregnant form.  I feel that women look their best during this precious time of their lives.  I would like to help you celebrate the coming of your bundle of joy, by capturing artistic and tasteful images of your curvy belly.

Meeting new families is a delightful experience.  Observing the dynamics within your family, whilst trying to capture the nuances of each relationship, is enthralling.  Although I will often direct to try and capture a traditional family portrait, I will also hang back and let you be yourselves.

My goal is to capture a moment in time that might otherwise have passed you by. As your photographer, I see the details that are often missed – the innocence of a newborn baby, the beautiful glow of an expectant mum, the marvel and curiosity of a toddler, the unconditional love between mother and child, and the liveliness of your family.
